The work order PDF and the email both contain three one-click action links. The contractor does not need a Merlo AI account or any login to use them.
When the contractor clicks Accept:
- Their browser opens a confirmation page acknowledging the acceptance
- The work order status automatically updates to Accepted in the Dashboard
- The action is logged in the work order’s timeline with a timestamp
When the contractor clicks Decline:
- Their browser opens a page where they can optionally provide a reason
- The work order status automatically updates to Declined in the Dashboard
- The timeline is updated and you will be able to see the decline reason if one was provided
When the contractor clicks Send Message:
- Their browser opens a simple message form
- They can type a question, request a call, ask for clarification, or provide an update
- The message is recorded in the work order’s Messages section in the Dashboard
- Your team will see the message the next time they view the work order
